What if Jesus Had Never Been Born? How the world would be different

In recent years, the news media, the film industry, and academia have leveled a barrage of criticism at Christian faith. They rightly point to the Crusades, anti-Semitism, the Inquisition, the Salem witch trials, the trans-Atlantic slave trade, apartheid, colonialism, and child sexual abuse by Christian clergy, as serious blemishes on Christian history. As a result, unprecedented numbers of young people have abandoned religion entirely and often all faith in God. But is the whole story really being told? Would the world really be better off if Jesus had never been born? Jon Paulien takes a new look at Christian history and makes the case that if Jesus had never been born, there would be no cell phones, no internet, no airplanes, no scientific age, no Loma Linda University, and that universities, hospitals and the USA as we know them, would not exist either.

The event titled ‘What if Jesus Had Never Been Born? How the world would be different’ will be held on February 22 at 3 pm in Damazo Amphitheater, Centennial Complex (24760 Stewart St., Loma Linda, CA).
