Speaker: Dr. Barbara Hernandez
Speaker Bio: Dr. Barbara Couden Hernandez is Director of Physician Vitality and a professor of medical education at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She holds degrees in nursing, marriage and family therapy, and family social science from Atlantic Union College, California State University Fullerton, and the University of Minnesota. Her work has largely focused on the unspoken challenges and pains of people in therapy, either as a practitioner or therapist educator. Her research is on topics such as wellbeing, resilience, burnout, spirituality, and ambiguous loss.
