November marks Lung Cancer Awareness Month, a time to bring attention to a leading cause of death around the world, and to educate the community about the importance of early detection through low-dose computer tomography (LDCT).
Enjoy complimentary refreshments and snacks, learn about resources, network with regional community organizations and sign up for a free low-dose CT screening. Screening appointments are limited and will be offered on a space available basis. Screening requirements are as follows: 50-80 years of age, have a 20 pack per year history, and are a current smoker, or have quit within the last 15 years.
RSVP to attend to Jennifer McMahon at JMcMahon@llu.edu.
