This presentation will address the problems faced by individuals and families with chronic illness. The session will provide current research regarding the signs and symptoms of families struggling with the effects of chronic illness. It will further explore the role of the chronic illness in the family; how families can decrease stress and increase family functioning. It will further address evidence based treatment options recognizing when to refer patients to appropriate services. Attendees will receive 7.0 CE Credit Hours.

Shephardson Drive and Benton Street in Loma Linda.
