2026 Jack W. Provonsha Lecture and Symposium

The Loma Linda University Center for Christian Bioethics presents the 2026 Jack W. Provonsha Lecture and School of Religion Symposium.

The lecture is entitled, 'Beyond the Broken Brain: An Embodied, Relational, Christian Approach to Healing from Mental Health Problems.'  The keynote speaker is Warren Kinghorn, MD, ThD from Duke University Medical Center, and the respondents are Andrea Xisto, PhD, MEd, JD and Michelle Garber-Talamo DO, MPH, MA.

The School of Religion Symposium is titled, 'Resisting Osmosis: Moral Formation Beyond the Hidden Curriculum.' The speakers are Zane Yi, PhD, Yi Shen Ma, PhD, and Marlene Ferreras, PhD, AMFT.
