Each day scores of families discover the challenge of navigating the labyrinth of support needed to care for a loved one who suffers from one of many brain health maladies.  Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, stroke and traumatic brain injury are just a few of the brain health issues that will continue to increase as the baby boomer population ages.  How will society support the tsunami of cases that will arise in the coming months and years? What do we need to know to reduce brain health risk at an individual level while participating as a community in providing the help that individuals and families need? How do we access resources that are not systematically connected?  Drs. Dean and Ayesha Sherzai will engage leaders from a cross section of public and non-profit organizations in our next Community Conversation.
